GLASSMATE®-HT Graphite

An intergral oxidation inhibitor makes this the optimal material for high-heat applications (above 450°C) where graphite typically oxidizes, raising the oxidation temperature to 600°C.

  • Average particle size of less than 5 microns provides high material strength and resistance to damage
  • Elevates oxidation threshold to 600°C for high-temperature applications
  • Low thermal conductivity reduces checking in the neck and shoulders of larger bottles, increasing yield
  • Improved wear-resistance characteristics extend product life, minimizing costly replacements and downtime
